I’m a liberator, it’s what I am, it’s what I do. Confused? Don’t worry things will become clear soon enough.

We all have our talents, some just show up sooner for some than others. My liberator status showed up early in my life, maybe it’s because my inquisitive mind questioned what was said to be the norm. Maybe it’s because I choose not to follow the pack, but to lead.

Leading itself comes with its own rules, but when you decide to lead leaders that takes on a whole different life.

I choose that different life, leading leaders in the retail sector, that wonderful, exciting, exhilarating, messed up world of retail-what a blast!

I know many of you are having some unique challenges during these crazy times of change that seem to be a little more messed up than usual – deal with it, get over it and get on with it, there is still business to be done.

The decision is yours-you have to decide if you are willing to do what it takes to run a successful business in the now.

Let me liberate you, I recommend you start here:

Liberate your business from the chains of the past-I don’t care how long you have been in business, what you used to do, or how it used to be, most of these stories are old and tired. Start to tell a new story, what have you done for me lately and are you serving my needs in the now?

Liberate yourself-You may be getting in your companies own way of future growth and profit, is it time for you to start thinking new thoughts?

Liberate your staff-You best be fostering a strong climate of creative risky thinking and innovation. You need to surround yourself with staff that have powerful ideas to serve a new set of market needs. Do not leave all the thinking to management.

Liberate your customers-You think you know what your customers want, but chances are your missing huge opportunity’s because you’re not listening! Manufacturers’, trade shows, reps and dad all have their own ideas and motives telling you what you should do, hmm do these people pay your bills? Listen to what your customers are asking for, every market is unique, Listen up!

The choice is all yours, and it really is quite easy-carry on carrying on and hope those old glory days come back, or liberate yourself and create those days now.
